Can a Phone Photo Work for Pet Portrait Jewelry?
Yes. A phone photo can often work for pet portrait jewelry, especially when it clearly shows the shape of your pet's face, ears, eyes, and markings.
You do not need a professional portrait. You need the clearest image you have and a process that pauses if something is not usable.
What makes a photo easier to use
- The face is in focus.
- The photo is bright enough to see important features.
- Your pet is not covered by heavy shadows.
- The ears, nose, and face shape are visible.
- The image is not heavily filtered or compressed.
What can make a photo harder
Very dark images, tiny screenshots, motion blur, and photos where the face is partly hidden can make a portrait less clear. If you only have one meaningful photo, upload it anyway. We will review it before production and ask for another option if needed.
For paw or nose print pieces
A high-contrast image helps. If you already have an ink print, upload the clearest version. If you do not have an ink print, a close photo of the paw or nose may still help depending on the design. Choose the closest memory type on the product page and add a note if you are unsure.
Do not over-edit the image
It is better to upload the original photo than a heavily edited version. Cropping is fine when it helps us see the subject, but filters, stickers, and screenshots can remove detail.
What happens after upload
Ever Near reviews the uploaded reference before production. If the photo is too unclear to use well, production pauses and we contact you. The goal is not to rush the order through. The goal is a keepsake that feels careful.
You can start with the best photo you have. We will ask before moving forward if the image needs another look.
